How do I connect my HMRC account?

After signing up, go to Settings > HMRC Connection and follow the authorization flow. You'll be redirected to HMRC to grant access, then back to TaxStats Source.

What file types can I upload?

We support PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, and HEIC files. Maximum file size is 10MB per document. For bulk uploads, you can upload up to 50 files at once.

How accurate is the AI categorisation?

Our AI achieves 99%+ accuracy on standard receipts and invoices. Complex documents may occasionally need manual review. The AI learns from your corrections to improve over time.

Can I edit transactions after submission?

You can edit transactions up until quarterly submission. After submitting to HMRC, you'll need to make adjustments in the next quarter or submit an amendment.

Do you offer phone support?

Phone support is available for Landlord Plus and Accountant plan customers. Sole Trader customers have access to email and chat support.
